Family Links Robert Francis Seale 1 Born: 13 Nov 1791 1 Died: 1839 aged 48 2   General Notes: In the 1820s he made a model of the Island which was shipped to England in 1826 to the EIC. It later went to a museum, but Gosse ascertained it was destroyed in the 1930s after woodworm had been discovered in the base which they were not prepared to repair.   Noted events in his life were: • Appointment: Junior Writer, 1807. 3 • Appointment: Colonial Secretary, 1836. 4 • Dismissal, 1838. 2
