• Education, 7 Nov 1831-1843, Trinity College, Dublin. 1 Philip Crampton, who paid a fixed sum annually, entered Trinity College on November 7, 1800, aged 16. His Schoolmaster was Mr. Huddart. Cecil Crampton was born in Mayo and was the son of Cecil Crampton, a Clergyman. He graduated with a BA (Bachelor of Arts) in spring 1836 and a MB (Bachelor of Medicine) in spring 1843.
